UNMUTED: Reclaiming the Voice of God’s Women is an inspirational, Scripture-based workbook for women who have questioned whether their voices, gifts, or leadership belong in the kingdom of God. Janice F. Baca examines restrictive passages that have often been used to silence women and places them alongside the Bible’s wider witness of women whom Yehovah called, equipped, and used mightily. Through the stories of Deborah, Miriam, Huldah, the Samaritan woman, Mary Magdalene, Phoebe, Priscilla, Junia, and many others, readers are invited to recognize themselves in Scripture and reconsider inherited limitations. Each chapter combines biblical teaching with personal reflection questions, declarations, prayers, and practical action steps. Drawing upon textual scholarship, Janice’s personal ministry experience, and the promise of Joel 2 that sons and daughters will prophesy, UNMUTED encourages women to heal from spiritual restriction, cultivate their gifts, and rise with humility, courage, wisdom, and covenant faithfulness.
